What is the admissions process for Ashoka University?

  1. Undergraduate international:-

  • Application form:- Application Forms for Ashoka University's Undergraduate Programmes for the academic session that starts in August 2021 are open. Use the APPLY tab to register yourself and start to fill in your application form.

  • Financial Aid & Services:- The Financial Aid policies and procedures for International and indian students. All financial aid given by the university is requirement based while admissions related decisions are excellence based. Admissions decisions are not upon the students application for financial aid. If you would like to apply for financial aid you will be given the Chance to do so only if you have been made an suggestion of Admission to the Undergraduate Programme. If you are made an Offer of Admission, you will be given the option to specify your interest in applying for financial aid and will need to fill out and submit a large Financial Aid Form to support your request. You will also be required to attach certain documents according to your family's current financial status. Please fill in all the related details accurately.

  • Selection Criteria:- The Admissions Cycle has 4 Rounds. We motivate all International Students to apply in Rounds 1 & 2 to make sure that, if shortlisted and offered admission to Ashoka University Course, they have sufficient time to receive acceptable support with their overseas travel and visa processes.

  • Admission Process:-

Stage1- Application & Assessments- Academic Scores, SAT/ACT Scores, personal Essays, Recommendation, Non- academic Engagements.The Ashoka Aptitude Assessment has been developed for Ashoka University's admissions purposes by Cambridge and is based on the thoughtful Skills Assessment to assess the thinking skills of the student.

Stage2- Shortlisted for Interview-Interview with Panel(Mandatory) Interviewer will interact with shortlisted candidates to get know then and evaluate their suitability for academics at ashoka.

Stage3- Decisions and Financial Aid-

Confirmed Offer- The candidate will be required to pass their final Grade XII/Equivalent Examination.

Conditional Offer- The candidate will be required to meet the conditions specified by the Admissions Committee in their decision notification.

Waitlist(upon availability)- The possibility of the Offer of Admission at the end of the admissions cycle or earlier but to be decided by the Admissions Committee.

Deferral Decision- The Admissions Committee will require the candidate to submit their final Grade XII / Equivalent Examination scores before making a final decision on the candidate.

Denial of Admission- The Admissions Committee refuses admission to the student based on its ranking of their overall performance. Students receive a final Denial of Admission decision only after giving their final Grade XII/ Equivalent Examination scores.

Annulment of Application- The Admissions Committee annuls an application if the student fails to engage in all the parts of the Interview Round or fails to give their final Grade XII/ Equivalent Examination scores.

  • Ashoka University Fees:- Admissions Fee of INR 50,000 at the time of take of the Offer of Admission. Refundable Security payment of INR 75,000 (Security Deposit of INR 50,000 and Meal Cost Deposit of INR 25,000) at the time of approval of an Offer of Admission. The Security payment will be refunded at the time of Ashoka University graduation or at the time of withdrawal of admission from the programme. We provide Installments Fee Structure Also.

  1. Undergraduate Transfer Students

  • Policies:- Once an Student has done all the parts of the application process and submitted their form, the student will have to participate in the Assessments, which need the student to give the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment and write an immediate Essay. The Admissions Committee will approximate individual applications in an overall manner and shortlisted students for the Interview.
