The following are the tentative essays for application to MBA courses to the following schools due in the next few weeks.
Established in 1881, the school ( https://www.hec.edu/en) offers it's MBA program for applicants with 2-10 year of experience over a duration of 16 months. The MBA program at HEC attracts a huge number of international applicants which form 93% of the student community.
Following are the questions that are a part of the MBA application for the Jan intake this year. The school has a rolling admissions process with the results being declared within 5 weeks of application.
Why are you applying to the HEC MBA Program now? What is the professional objective that will guide your career choice after your MBA, and how will the HEC MBA contribute to the achievement of this objective?
What do you consider your most significant life achievement?
Leadership and ethics are inevitably intertwined in the business world. Describe a situation in which you have dealt with these issues and how they have influenced you.
Imagine a life entirely different from the one you now lead, what would it be?
Please choose from one of the following essays:
a) What monument or site would you advise a first-time visitor to your country or city to discover, and why? b) Certain books, movies or plays have had an international success that you believe to be undeserved. Choose an example and analyse it. c) What figure do you most admire and why? You may choose from any field (arts, literature, politics, business, etc).

CEIBS (http://www.ceibs.edu/#MBA) brings together an 18 month MBA course based in Shanghai. It also gives the opportunity of a coordinated MBA/MALD program with the Fletcher School.
Following are the essays that are required as a part of the MBA application at CEIBS.
Discuss your post - MBA career aspirations (short term and long term) and explain how you plan to achieve them (400 words).
One of the Two:
Discuss a situation where you have demonstrated significant leadership ability. (400 words)
CEIBS is situated in Shanghai - a truly global city, and the economic center of the world’s soon to be largest economy. Given its unique location, how do you anticipate that Shanghai will differentiate your MBA experience and contribute to your goals? (400 words)
IMD ( www.imd.org ) values leadership, entrepreneurship and a global approach with a keen eye on the response of various sectors to digitalization. The one year program has a diverse class profile which spans to at least 51% being managers of large teams prior to their MBA; 56% being involved in digital transformation and 39% with startup experience.
The IMD MBA application requires the below mentioned essays:
Describe a situation in which you failed as a leader. What did you learn from it? (Word limit 300)
Is there any additional information that is critical for the Admissions Committee which has not been covered elsewhere in this application? (i.e. re-application, health, grades, etc.) (Word limit 50)
How do you intend to finance your MBA at IMD? How much of your total budget estimate will you be able to provide without loans or scholarships? (Word limit 50)
What other programs are you considering? Of the programs you are considering, what can IMD bring to you as a differentiator? (Word limit 100)

This mission, is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals put forth by the United Nations General Assembly and drives the thinking and approach to education at Rotterdam

SMEAL College of business ( https://mba.smeal.psu.edu/) gives a good boost to the applicant's earning potential. It is rated as No. 1 for a career in Supply Chain Management and Consulting.
