SPJIMR - PGDM & PGPM (Summary)

The two year PGDM full time residential programme at SPJIMR is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and The Association of MBAs (AMBA), U.K. The course offers four specialisations – Finance, Information Management, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.
Some key points about the school are:
Exposure due to being located in Mumbai.Highest number of credits and time devoted to sensitize students to management's higher purpose in society.Flexibility to shift between major and minor specialization.Exchange visits ranging from a few weeks to a semester.
International students come from KEDGE Business School (France), IESEG (France), Dauphine University (France), NUS (Singapore), ESIC Business & Marketing School (Spain).
The Global Fast Track (GFT), is a three-week course towards the end of the third semester. This enables the students to contribute during their internship and to make an impact.
Students can undertake advanced courses at partner B-schools (but are not restricted to): Michigan State University (Eli Broad College of Business), Cornell University (Johnson School of Management), Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper School of Business) and schools in Europe and Asia. The list of schools may change from year to year.
The programme offers four specialisations – Finance, Information Management, Marketing, Operations. The students are required to choose their specialisation at the application stage itself.
The programme includes pre-MBA study material of Harvard Business School.
The students also engage in beyond-the-classroom learning initiatives and real-life projects and internships.
In the second year the students undertake eight-week corporate projects with the industry.

The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based and Profile cum Score based.
Work experience is not mandatory for this program. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of work experience can apply.
The programme has an online rolling process of admissions. Additionally, SPJIMR extends Early Offers to exceptionally bright candidates.

Interviews for the programme take place throughout the admission cycle, from the month of February to August in the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
The course is ideal for the middle management applicants. It is a One Year Full Time Residential component, preceded by a 3-month off campus blended web learning component. In aggregate, the programme is of 15 months duration.
PGPM is for working professionals with a minimum experience of five years and seeking an accelerated growth in their careers.
