Understanding the IIMA PGPX Placements: An Analysis of the Data


The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad's Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (IIMA PGPX) is a one-year course designed for experienced professionals seeking to enhance their managerial skills. The number of students unplaced has been relatively low, ranging from 3 to 12 in the last five years. The IIMA PGPX course has a diverse student population, with 140 professionals with an average work experience of 7.3 years and an average age of 30. The class also has a significant number of women candidates at 22%.

Salaries Offered in Placements


The salaries offered to IIMA PGPX graduates have been consistently high in the last five years, with the maximum salary offered increasing from 54.6 lakhs in 2018 to 82 lakhs in 2021. The median salary offered has also remained stable at around 30 lakhs, with a significant increase to 36.2 lakhs in 2022.
