The median base salary for Columbia Business School 2021 graduates was $150,000 with 100% of students receiving a base salary offer. Additionally, 73.8% of students received a signing bonus, with a median of $30,000. 20.8% of students also received other guaranteed compensation, with a median of $30,000. These figures demonstrate that Columbia Business School graduates receive competitive compensation packages in their post-MBA careers.


The data on class of 2021 job offers and acceptances shows that 94% of students received job offers, with 92% of students accepting. Strategic/management consulting positions had a median base salary of $165,000, while other consulting positions had a median base salary of $120,000. Within investment management, fund of funds/hedge funds/mutual funds had the highest median base salary at $162,500. The other industries listed had median base salaries ranging from $112,000 to $190,000.


Compensation by Function at Columbia MBA:


Looking at compensation by function, management consulting had the highest median base salary at $165,000, while other functions had median base salaries ranging from $113,500 to $150,000. Investment banking/M&A, sell-side research, private client services/wealth management, and private equity/LBOs all had a median base salary of $150,000.

2. Students completing a graduate degree program: To be eligible for the Deferred Enrollment Program, candidates must have begun the graduate degree program immediately after completing their undergraduate degree. Not eligible are students enrolling in Ph.D. programs, law school, or medical school.
