Before you begin your application, it is essential to confirm that you meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the Indian School of Business for the PGPpro 2026–27 intake. The program is designed for experienced professionals who want to pursue a formal management education without taking a break from their careers.
ISB PGPpro Basic Eligibility Requirements
Criteria | Requirement |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent professional qualification such as CA or CS |
Work Experience | Minimum of five years of full-time work experience as of June 30, 2026 |
Standardized Tests | GMAT, GRE, CAT, or Executive Assessment are not required for PGPpro |
The eligibility requirement of five years applies strictly to full-time work experience post completion of undergraduate education.
Special Instructions for Specific Backgrounds Applying to ISB PGPpro 2026:
Medical Professionals (MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy)
The one-year mandatory internship is considered part of education, not professional experience.
A master's degree in a medical or paramedical field is treated as part-time study. The same period is counted as full-time professional experience in the work experience section.
Chartered Accountants (CA)
The articleship/internship period (typically three years) is entered as:
Part-time in the Education section
Full-time in the Professional Experience section
However, this period does not count toward the 5-year eligibility requirement.
Who Should Apply
This program is well-suited for:
Mid-level managers preparing for senior leadership roles
Entrepreneurs and business owners looking to scale with structured business knowledge
Professionals from diverse industries such as IT, manufacturing, consulting, healthcare, education, and media
Functional experts aiming to pivot into strategic or general management roles
If you meet the above criteria, you are eligible to apply for the ISB PGPpro 2026 and position yourself for an accelerated career path with minimal disruption to your current role.
ISB PGPpro Application Deadlines (Delhi–Hyderabad Cohort)
ISB’s PGPpro follows a multi-round admissions process, giving applicants the flexibility to apply at a time that best fits their preparation timeline. For the 2026–27 Delhi–Hyderabad cohort, the application is open across three rounds.
Each round has equal weight in terms of admissions decisions, but applying earlier is always recommended for better planning, interview prep, and access to scholarships or financial aid.
🔔 ISB PGPpro 2026 Application Deadlines
Application Round | Deadline Date | Notes |
Round 1 | November 9, 2025 | Ideal for early planners. Strong chance to get preferred interview slot |
Round 2 | February 8, 2026 | Balanced timeline for profile preparation and recommender follow-up |
Round 3 | April 19, 2026 | Final round; limited interview slots, intense competition |
Time Zone: All deadlines are 11:59 PM IST on the date mentioned.
Grace Period for Document Corrections
If any of your uploaded documents have discrepancies or are missing, ISB allows a grace period of 5 days after the deadline to make corrections. If unresolved, your application may be disqualified.
When Are ISB PGPpro Interviews Conducted?
ISB follows a batch evaluation model, which means:
Your application will be reviewed only after the round deadline passes
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews
Interview invites are sent 3–5 days in advance
Interviews may be virtual or in-person (based on availability and preference)
Key Recommendation Tip
Make sure your recommenders submit their forms before the application round deadline. ISB does not evaluate incomplete applications, even if the applicant portion is done.
ISB PGPpro Evaluation Process & Selection Parameters
Admission to the ISB PGPpro is based on a comprehensive and merit-driven evaluation process. ISB looks beyond just academics and job titles—it seeks professionals who demonstrate clarity of purpose, leadership potential, and readiness for a rigorous learning experience while continuing in their careers.
Here is how ISB evaluates each applicant to the PGPpro 2026–27 cohort.
Holistic Application Review
The admissions committee undertakes a holistic review that includes:
Educational background
Quality and depth of work experience
Career progression and achievements
Awards, recognitions, and extracurricular involvement
Essays that communicate motivation and self-awareness
Professional recommendations that validate your impact
Personal interview (for shortlisted candidates)
This multidimensional approach ensures that professionals from diverse backgrounds—whether from corporate roles, startups, or family businesses—can demonstrate their unique strengths.
ISB PGPpro Resume Requirements
ISB mandates a specific resume format, downloadable from the application portal. It must exclude:
Contact details
Social media links
GMAT/GRE/CAT scores
Academic marks or CGPA
Current or past salary information
The objective is to ensure fair evaluation by focusing solely on professional accomplishments, roles, and responsibilities without unconscious bias.
Shortlisting and Interview Process
Only selected applicants are invited for an interview. The interview may be conducted virtually or in-person, depending on availability. Shortlisted candidates are typically notified 3 to 5 days in advance.
ISB attempts to honor the preferred interview location selected in the application
The interview is designed to assess leadership potential, communication, clarity of goals, and program fit
A valid government-issued ID must be presented during the interview
Application Round Implications
All applications are evaluated only after the deadline of the respective round. Therefore, early submission does not accelerate your review unless the round itself closes. However, applying in earlier rounds may allow more flexibility in interview scheduling and faster financial planning.
ISB PGPpro Resume Format & Submission Guidelines
Your resume is one of the most critical documents in the ISB PGPpro application. Unlike typical job resumes, ISB requires a specific format that ensures every applicant is evaluated on the basis of relevant professional milestones and leadership indicators, without bias from academic scores or personal identifiers.
ISB Resume Requirements
All applicants must upload a resume using the prescribed ISB format, downloadable from the application portal. This standardized format enables fair comparison of profiles across industries, functions, and years of experience.
Mandatory Guidelines
The resume must:
Be limited to one page
Exclude all of the following:
Personal contact details (phone number, email)
Social media links (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
Academic marks, GPA, CGPA, or rank
Salary or compensation information
Test scores (GMAT, GRE, CAT, etc.)
Recommended Best Practices
List professional experiences in reverse chronological order, with your current or most recent role first
Focus on impact-oriented achievements rather than generic job responsibilities
Use quantified metrics wherever possible to demonstrate scale, results, or scope
Highlight team management, cross-functional projects, client-facing roles, and strategic contributions
Example of a strong bullet point:
Led a five-member marketing team to design and execute a digital campaign that resulted in a 34 percent increase in lead conversions across three regions
File Format and Size
Accepted file types: PDF, JPEG, PNG
Maximum file size: 2 MB
Ensure the document is fully scanned and legible
Avoid cropped or partial uploads
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Uploading resumes in personal formats (ATS, Canva templates, etc.)
Including sensitive data or irrelevant personal details
Using more than one page
Submitting scanned hard copies instead of clean digital versions
A professional, well-structured resume not only aligns with ISB’s expectations but also sets the tone for your overall application. It reflects your ability to communicate with clarity, prioritize relevant information, and present a structured view of your career to date.
ISB PGPpro Application Personal Information & Identity Documents

What kind of work experience is counted for ISB PGPpro eligibility?
Only full-time, post-undergraduate work experience is counted toward the minimum 5-year requirement. Internships, part-time roles, or work done before completing your bachelor's degree are not considered.
Is GMAT, GRE, CAT, or Executive Assessment required for ISB PGPpro?
No. The ISB PGPpro does not require any test scores. Admission is based on your professional profile, essays, recommendations, and interview.
Can I apply with less than 5 years of experience?
You may apply only if you will complete 5 years of full-time work experience by June 30, 2026. Anything short of this will make you ineligible for the 2026 intake.
Can I change my recommender after submitting the application?
Changes are discouraged, but in exceptional cases, you can raise a request through 'Got Queries?'. ISB may take up to 48 hours to process a recommender change. This must be done before the application round deadline.
What should I do if my recommender has not received the email?
Ask them to check their spam, junk, or promotions folders. Ensure they are using a corporate email address and add pgppro@isb.edu to their contact list. If the issue persists, raise a support ticket via the application portal.
What file formats and sizes are allowed for uploads?
You may upload documents in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format. Each file must be under 2 MB. Avoid uploading partially scanned, blurred, or cut-off documents.

Can I defer my admission to the next year?
Yes, you may request a one-time deferral for medical or professional reasons. Documentation is required. The admission fee must still be paid, and the fee structure of the next academic year will apply.
What if I miss classes during the PGPpro program?
Attendance is mandatory due to the modular structure. If you must miss classes due to a serious emergency, you can request a Leave of Absence (LOA) and rejoin within the next two academic years. Without an approved LOA, you may forfeit term fees or fall behind.
