August 1-3, 2025: VENIX 2025 Festival

IIM Bangalore's flagship business and entrepreneurship summit brought together over 415 students from 125+ colleges under the theme "Vision. Venture. Victory." The festival featured speakers from SBI, Bain & Company, Google India, Federal Bank, and Accenture, demonstrating the institution's strong industry connections and student engagement capabilities.

August 6, 2025: Tony James Centre Launch

The establishment of the Tony James Centre for Private Equity and Venture Capital marked a historic milestone as India's first Centre of Excellence dedicated to PEVC research. June 5, 2025: World Environment Day and Sustainability Commitment

IIM Bangalore marked World Environment Day by launching its third-party audited Sustainability Report and announcing ambitious carbon neutrality goals: Scope 2 emissions by 2030 and Scope 1 by 2035. Prof. Haritha Saranga, Chairperson of the Sustainability Taskforce, emphasized that "Climate change is the biggest challenge mankind is facing, but most people are unaware of it."

Key sustainability initiatives include the campus biogas plant (operational since 2016), a 42% reduction in textbook consumption through reuse programs, and a comprehensive ecosystem of over 20,000 trees.


June 7-8, 2025: Faculty Development Programme in Sri Lanka

IIM Bangalore's Centre for Teaching and Learning conducted its third international faculty development initiative at Northern UNI, Jaffna, Sri Lanka. June 9, 2025: IIM Bangalore PGP and PGPBA Inauguration

In a historic moment, IIM Bangalore welcomed its largest-ever cohort of 622 students (544 PGP + 78 PGPBA) for the Class of 2025-27.
