What is the ISB Early Entry Option (PGP deferred) for the 2024 intake?


The ISB Early Entry Option allows you to apply for deferred admission to the PGP for the 2024 intake. The ISB Early Entry Option is suitable for candidates who fulfill the following requirements:


  1. Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.

  2. Have a valid GMAT/GRE score.

  3. Have less than 24 months of full-time post-qualification work experience as of April 08, 2024.

  4. If the language of instruction during your undergraduate studies was not English, you will need to provide a TOEFL/IELTS/PTE score.


Do I need to provide a TOEFL/IELTS score for the PGP 2024-25 and Early Entry Option 2024?

If the language of instruction at your undergraduate study level was not English, you are required to submit a TOEFL/IELTS score for both the PGP 2024-25 and Early Entry Option 2024.


Is it possible for me to apply for the Early Entry Option if I have work experience exceeding 24 months?

No, the Early Entry Option is exclusively intended for individuals with less than 24 months of full-time post-qualification work experience as of April 08, 2024. If your work experience exceeds 24 months, we encourage you to apply for the regular PGP 2024-25 program.


Is there a specific deadline for submitting the GMAT/GRE scores?

Yes, it is the same as the deadline for the application you are applying to.


Can I submit both GMAT and GRE scores for my ISB EEO application 2024?

Yes, you can choose to submit either GMAT or GRE scores. The choice of test is yours, and both scores are accepted for the application process.


Are there any specific score requirements for the GMAT/GRE or TOEFL/IELTS/PTE?

About the ISB Early entry option:

The ISB PGP's Early Entry Option is a deferred admission offer. The Early Entry Option permits recent graduates with less than 24 months of full-time job experience to gain admission to the ISB PGP. Candidates who are chosen will be granted deferred admission and will be eligible to enter the PGP once they have completed at least 24 months of full-time job experience.

ISB Early Entry Option Eligibility:


To apply for deferred admission under the Early Entry Option, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Applicants should have at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any field.

  2. A valid GMAT/GRE score to apply.

  3. Less than 24 months of full-time job experience as of the start date of the application cycle i.e. March 2024.

  4. IELTS / TOEFL (If Applicable)

  2. Total Commitment fees (Non-refundable): Rs. 2,36,000 (Including GST @18%)

ISB EEO Admission Process

Stage 1 - Application All qualified individuals must complete an online application form that collects information on their academic background, employment history, and GMAT/GRE scores. Candidates must additionally submit two essays and obtain a statement from a professional peer detailing their accolades and accomplishments as part of their application. Stage 2 – Interview After application process candidates profile will be thoroughly assessed by the admission committee and short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews, and at the conclusion of each round, offers will be issued to the students. ISB Placements Process:

  1. At ISB, the placement process takes about four months.

  2. Through a series of on-campus presentations and hundreds of job advertisements, students get the opportunity to learn about recruitment companies with a presence both nationally and worldwide.

  3. The first stage of the placement process involves recruiters giving pre-placement talks (PPT) to the student body.

  4. The organisations' philosophies and objectives are the main topics of discussion. Students respond to the questions with "expressions of interest (EOI)".

  5. After the recruiters have made a list of qualified candidates, the Career Advancement Services (CAS) staff gets in touch with the students.

  6. Campus interviews come next, and then businesses make offers. Recruiters may also speak with candidates off-campus.

ISB Early Entry Option FAQs

Does PGP provide an MBA degree? In India, only universities have the authority to grant degrees. The ISB PGP is not a degree or a certificate. Does the GMAT or GRE have a minimum score requirement for PGP? For the GMAT and GRE, there is no minimum score. The current class's GMAT scores range from 600 to 780, while the GRE scores range from 311 to 335. How much old GMAT/GRE score consider valid for PGP? GMAT/GRE scores are valid for five years after the exam date. Please confirm that your score is current as of the round application deadline.
